Judgement

Hmmph. First post. I suppose this is supposed to be where I introduce myself, tell you an inspiring story of the struggles of my childhood, then go on to some for of deep thought for you to ponder.

I'm not going to bother with most of that.

I don't need introduction. You can call me "that tall kid." That one always fits me well. Or hell, call me, "that theatre guy." I'll take it. There's really no need for a name when you've apparently got me figured out from a single trait, right? Call me whatever you want, in front or behind my back, it really doesn't matter.

After a year of living on campus in a small college, I learn a lot of things. You really have to let certain things go. People need to understand that no matter how long or how hard you attempt to monitor yourself or fix yourself to avoid being judged or ridiculed, you can't avoid it. People are assholes, so you can either learn to please them or learn to please yourself.

Like right now, I'm positive someone reading this is giving this a brief look and thinking "another damn college kid writing a blog? don't they have some ultimate frisbee to be playing..." So it's fine.

“We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it's another to think that yours is the only path.”
